DESCRIPTION:Lake Taupo Jamboree – Wairakei School\, Wairakei\, Taupo\nYes it’s that time again! Limited spaces so first in best dressed. \nThe registration fee covers entry to the event along with morning teas and lunches on Saturday and Sunday\, you will have to fend for yourself on Friday however there will be tea\, coffee and biscuits available for the duration of the event. \nAccommodation is once again at the Wairakei Trust – just a couple of hundred meters from the school. Pillows\, sheets and towels are provided. It can get cold in Taupo so might pay to bring a warm blanket or sleeping bag\, just in case. For breakfasts\, we would like these to take place in the lunch room of the school hall. Please bring your own cereals or toast we will have milk\, tea and coffee available each morning. \nAs always there will be trade stalls and great raffles held throughout the weekend. \nFor more details contact: email: taupowoodturner@gmail.com

DESCRIPTION:Manawatu Woodworkers Guild Inc. \n\n\n\n\nCentral Districts Woodwork Expo \n\n\n\n\nMay 16th\, 2021. \nHeld in the Bell and Barber Halls in Waldergrave Street\, Palmerston North. \nThe doors open to the public at 9am. Setup for retail stall holders and competing Guilds is either on Saturday 15th from 1pm or earlier on Sunday morning. There is a door entry of $5.00 for everyone . \nThe format is changing a bit in 2021: the woodturning competition will be more of a wood skills competition to incorporate a wider range of woodwork skills. \nThey have also invited more than the normal nine North Island clubs/guilds to compete. \nAs usual they will have all New Zealand’s leading woodwork retailers.
