Our speaker for this month is Bruce Dobson. He will be describing the turning tools that he makes, many of which are in use by guild members. We all benefit from Bruce's skilled craftmanship, his intimate knowledge of the purpose of each tool he creates and the creative flair of his final product.
Blair Giles from The Toolshed will be speaking on power tools for woodturning. His talk will be illustrated by a video showing the manufacturing of power tools in a Chinese factory.
The next workshop and demonstration will be on sharpening tools. Demonstrators will include Bruce Dobson, Keith Lang on sharpening chizels and drills and other specialised equipment.
Terry Scott, of Timberley, will be our demonstrator this month. He is not to be missed with a witty and polished delivery. He will be bringing his shop with him and we suggest that if you have any special requests that you email him at [email protected] .
